Qualifications:
Valid RN license for the state of NC (or compact licensure) At least one year of experience in a behavioral health/psychiatric setting Current BLS certification Strong communication, crisis intervention, and team collaboration abilities Previous travel nursing experience is a plus, but not required
Responsibilities:
Assess and monitor mental health conditions of patients Administer medications and document treatment plans Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and support staff to provide comprehensive care Employ de-escalation and therapeutic communication techniques Participate in patient and family education
