Schedule/Hours Shifts:
7:00am-7:00pm or 7:00pm-7:00am Weekend rotation: every other weekend No on-call Rotating holidays (75% of holidays required) Up to 6 days of time off approved (excluding holidays) Desired Qualifications Active RN license and ability to work within North Carolina 18+ months of recent MedSurg/Telemetry experienceBLS, ACLS, NIHSS
certifications (required) Strong skills in stroke care, NIH assessments, chest tube management, cardiac rhythm interpretation, IV/PIV starts, trach care, drain/tube management, and cardiac drip/medication gtt management Comfortable with Epic, Alaris IV pumps, Omnicell, and Philips monitors Willingness to float within the regional healthcare system per assignment needs Primary Responsibilities Deliver high-quality care to patients with a variety of acute medical conditions (stroke, COPD, GI bleed, cardiac, and more) Maintain appropriate RN, LPN, and CNA patient ratios based on census and acuity Support and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (24/7 phlebotomy, RT, hospitalist) Document accurately within Epic EMR Foster a team-oriented, positive unit culture Benefits and Perks Tax-advantaged stipends and premium compensation for travel professionals Paid time for inter-facility travel during floating Comprehensive healthcare benefits and 401(k) Job security through consistent travel opportunities within the regional network Travel assistance for logistics, plus free parking and provided orientation Take the next step in your nursing journey—apply today to expand your expertise while enjoying the unique rewards of travel nursing in North Carolina!
