The RN will perform assessments, administer medications, coordinate treatments, and support patients and families across diverse clinical settings. Working within an inclusive, collaborative culture, you'll partner with a multidisciplinary team, use advanced medical technology, and uphold patient safety and quality standards. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and document patient status accurately Administer medications and treatments safely per provider orders and hospital protocols Monitor patient responses, recognize changes in condition, and escalate concerns promptly Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and support staff to coordinate patient-centered care plans Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and discharge instructions Maintain accurate electronic health records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards Uphold infection prevention, safety, and quality improvement initiatives Participate in orientation, preceptorship, and ongoing professional development activities Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the care team to support positive outcomes Demonstrate Mission Health values of compassion, inclusion, and excellence in daily practice Required Skills Patient assessment Medication administration Electronic Health Record (EHR) documentation Clinical decision-making IV therapy and venipuncture Wound care and dressing changes Vital signs monitoring and interpretation Care planning and coordination Patient and family education Infection control practices
