A Registered Nurse provides medical care and treatment, educates patients about their conditions, and provides emotional support to patients and families. Works in hospitals, schools, clinics or community health centers. Works under the supervision of a physician or other specialist, and serves as the primary point of care for patients in a hospital setting. May specialize in emergency room work, or treatment for a particular condition, or specialize in working with infants, the elderly or other patient groups. May work as an advanced practice specialists and prescribe medications in addition to offering specialty care.

What You'll Do Performs Annual Wellness Visits, develops preventive care plans, and documents per CMS and provider guidelines. Manages care for high-risk and ACO patients, coordinating services and participating in daily/multidisciplinary huddles. Provides direct nursing care including triage, treatments, injections, labs, and patient admissions per protocol. Maintains compliance with licensure, safety, infection control, and quality improvement standards. Collaborates across departments, supports organizational mission, and upholds CommWell Health's core values. What We're Looking For Required BLS Certificate from American Red Cross or American Heart Association Registered Nurse (RN) with current NC license Minimum One (1) year experience as RN, LPN, or other related medical field Clean driving record with current NC driver's license and approved by corporate vehicle insurance vendor for driving privileges Preferred Prefer experience with Care Management, Value Based Care, Population Health, Medicare Annual Wellness.
