Job Overview Seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide nursing oversight and support for individuals receiving residential services. This position is responsible for medication oversight, routine nursing assessments, staff education and training, clinical documentation, and coordination with supervisors and medical providers. The ideal candidate will be dependable, organized, and comfortable working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and the staff who support them. Primary Responsibilities Observe monthly medication passes and document findings. Complete monthly medication audits. Complete quarterly and annual nursing assessments. Conduct quarterly medication/drug reviews and AIMS assessments. Complete nursing assessments as needed for individual health concerns. Investigate medication errors and complete required documentation and follow-up. Communicate health and medication concerns with supervisors and medical providers. Provide medication administration training and competency checks for staff. Administer and evaluate required medication and bloodborne pathogen testing. Provide staff education on topics such as wound care, medications, and other health-related needs. Provide wound care and administer injections as needed. Conduct TB testing for new staff. Complete nursing documentation and applicable incident reports. Maintain required nursing, medication, and training records. Qualifications Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license required Current CPR certification required Strong documentation and organizational skills Ability to communicate effectively with staff, individuals served, supervisors, and medical providers Experience working with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities is preferred, but not required
