Key Qualifications and Experience:
Active RN licensure Proven background in stepdown unit nursing, including experience with advanced monitoring and patient assessment Strong critical thinking skills for rapidly evolving clinical situations Comfortable collaborating with multidisciplinary healthcare teams Excellent communication, documentation, and patient advocacy abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
Monitor patient progress and vital signs, respond promptly to changes in condition Administer medications and therapies under established protocols Coordinate patient care plans in partnership with physicians and allied health professionals Educate patients and families regarding condition management, procedures, and recovery expectations Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety guidelines, and standards of nursing practice Accurately document nursing assessments, interventions, and outcomes
