Job Summary This role is for our new Urgent Care opening in Williamston, North Carolina. We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive patient care across a variety of clinical settings, collaborating closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional health services. Your expertise will help improve patient outcomes, support preventive care, and manage acute and chronic conditions. Duties Conduct thorough physical examinations and assess patient health status through detailed history-taking and vital signs measurement Prescribe medications and treatment plans in accordance with state laws and collaborative practice agreements Perform diagnostic evaluations utilizing EMR/EHR systems, including Epic, eClinicalWorks, and Cerner platforms Manage acute pain, perform suturing, administer injections, IV infusions, and catheterizations with sterile technique Assist with specialized procedures such as botulinum toxin treatments, dermal fillers, spinal taps, and ophthalmology assessments Collaborate with healthcare professionals across disciplines to develop individualized care plans for diverse patient populations including geriatrics, pediatrics, behavioral health, and hospice patients Document all patient interactions accurately in medical records while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and ICD coding standards such as ICD-10 and ICD-9 Skills Extensive experience working with electronic medical records (EMR/EHR systems) including Epic, Athenahealth, Cerner, and eClinicalWorks Proficiency in performing clinical procedures such as venipuncture, phlebotomy, tube feeding management, catheter care, and sterile processing techniques Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, pharmacology (including psychopharmacology), and medical terminology to support accurate diagnosis and treatment Skilled in patient assessment techniques including triage, vital signs monitoring, diagnostic evaluation, and physical examinations for diverse age groups from infants to seniors Experience in acute care environments such as ICU, emergency room (ER), Level I/II trauma centers, hospital medicine units, and urgent care settings Ability to work effectively within collaborative practice agreements while adhering to DEA regulations for prescribing controlled substances Familiarity with telehealth platforms for remote patient consultations and health coaching sessions Excellent client communication skills combined with a compassionate approach to behavioral health, dementia care, memory care, and individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges Join us to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives by providing expert clinical care in a supportive environment that values continuous learning and professional growth. Pay:

$75.00 - $90.00 per hour Expected hours: 36.0 - 40.0 per week
