Responsibilities:
Providing comprehensive patient care: Utilizing the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) to ensure holistic care, including physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. This involves developing individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
Continuous learning and professional development:
Maintaining current nursing knowledge, participating in ongoing education, and educating patients.
Effective delegation and supervision:
Appropriately delegating tasks to unlicensed assistive personnel (UAPs), providing clear direction, support, and monitoring to ensure safe and reliable patient care.
Strong communication and teamwork:
Communicating effectively with patients, families (especially during stressful times), and colleagues, and contributing positively to the work environment.
Self-reflection and accountability:
Regularly evaluating one's own practice against professional standards, seeking feedback, and participating in peer review processes. We are offering a $20,000 sign-on incentive to new hires who meet eligibility requirements
Job Requirements Required:
Graduation from an accredited nursing program Active North Dakota (ND) Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of North Dakota Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association Willing to obtain
PALS/ACLS/TNCC
Preferred:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) ER experience Where You'll Work CHI Lisbon Health is a 20 bed Critical Access Hospital with a 24 hour Emergency Level V Trauma Center.
