Job Description

Trusted Health seeks an Oncology Med/Tele Nurse to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care to oncology patients on a medical/telemetry unit. You will monitor complex telemetry, administer chemotherapy and supportive therapies, manage central lines, and respond to changes in patient status. In this mission-driven, tech-forward environment, you'll leverage digital tools for efficient charting and care coordination, collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team, educate patients and families, and advocate for safe, compassionate care that improves outcomes and the clinician experience. Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to oncology patients on a med/tele unit, including complex assessments and interventions Continuously monitor and interpret telemetry, escalating rhythm changes and clinical deterioration promptly Administer chemotherapy, biotherapy, blood products, and other treatments per protocol and safety standards Manage central lines, ports, and infusion devices, ensuring sterile technique and complication prevention Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the EHR and communicate changes to the care team Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and allied health professionals on individualized care plans and discharges Educate patients and families on disease processes, treatments, side effects, and home care needs Implement infection prevention, fall reduction, and other safety protocols to protect vulnerable patients Participate in interdisciplinary rounds, quality initiatives, and continuous improvement projects Use Trusted Health's digital tools to coordinate schedules, assignments, and communication, supporting a nurse-centric workflow.
