Registered Nurse (RN) Clinic - Pre/Post Op (Part-Time) Position Summary Columbus Surgery Center is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient care in our Pre/Post Operative area. The Ambulatory RN independently assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates care to meet the needs of adult and geriatric patients and their families. This role supports both Same Day Surgery (SDS) pre-operative and post-operative patient care, with a primary focus on eye and colonoscopy procedures. Schedule Part-time, 16 hours per week 3 days per week Variable days and hours Essential Responsibilities Perform comprehensive patient assessments and provide individualized nursing care. Prepare patients for outpatient surgical procedures. Monitor and care for patients during post-operative recovery. Educate patients and families regarding procedures, recovery expectations, and discharge instructions. Collaborate with physicians, clinical staff, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure safe and effective patient care. Maintain accurate and timely documentation. Qualifications Current Nebraska Registered Nurse (RN) license required. Previous ambulatory nursing experience preferred, but not required. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
