Cerner Position Overview Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract position supporting both Medical/Surgical and Emergency Room services. The RN will provide comprehensive patient care across multiple areas, including Med/Surg, ER, LDR, and Nursery, based on demonstrated competency. Requirements Current, active Nebraska RN license Graduate of an accredited nursing program Minimum 3 years of nursing experience Current
BLS/CPR ACLS TNCC NRP STABLE
Strong communication and clinical skills Must demonstrate competency in Emergency Room nursing Ability to provide care across Med/Surg and ER settings Weekend and holiday rotation required Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care based on established standards and patient care plans Assess, monitor, document, and report patient conditions and changes Administer and document oral, subcutaneous, intramuscular, and IV medications using barcode scanning Perform nursing procedures and therapeutic treatments Provide Emergency Room care following demonstration of competency Assist physicians and other healthcare team members as needed Provide total patient care when assigned to ER, Med/Surg, LDR, or Nursery Provide care to obstetrical patients through labor, delivery, and postpartum Provide newborn care Maintain accurate and complete patient records Transcribe physician orders Assist with patient education and self-care instruction Participate in quality assurance activities, committees, meetings, and educational programs Assist with orientation and training of new employees Maintain compliance with nursing standards, organizational policies, and HIPAA requirements Housing Affordable facility-owned housing may be available on a first-come, first-served basis . Housing availability is limited, so candidates should request housing information as early as possible. Limited on-call rooms may also be available upon request.
Pay:
From $64.60 per hour Expected hours: No less than 36.0 per week
