You must have an active Nebraska registered nurse license and experience in nephrology or dialysis settings. Certification in dialysis nursing, such as Certified Dialysis Nurse (CDN) or Certified Nephrology Nurse (CNN), is often preferred. If functioning as a home dialysis nurse, 1-3 years of nursing experience and at least 3 months in each dialysis modality are required. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and infection control protocols is essential.
