Job Summary:

Provides direct patient care to a service population of approximately 10,000 people, using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and with the policies, values, and mission of the organization. The Emergency Department is staffed 24 hours per day/seven days a week and has a Physician on duty at all times. This is Tribal Direct hire for permanent full-time Nurses for the Emergency Room.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Assesses patients presenting for emergency care and triages based on history, physical assessment and chief complaint. Provides comprehensive nursing care for acutely ill and/or critically ill patients. Administers therapeutic measures as prescribed by the physician to include, but not limited to, medication administration, intravenous fluids, blood transfusions, treatment and maintains those measures taken which are ongoing in nature. Operates and monitors specialized medical equipment. Collaborates with other healthcare professionals and service providers to ensure optimal patient care services. Initiates patient education plans, as prescribed by a physician. Cleans and bandages wounds. Displays professionalism while completing multiple urgent tasks. Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

Associate degree, bachelor's degree, higher level degree or diploma from an accredited professional nursing educational program is required. Active RN license At least two (2) years of professional nursing experience, preferably with one (1) year in an Emergency Room setting. Current ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, and NRP certifications Fully Vaccinated against Covid-19 Who We Are?
