Unity Hospice is looking for an exceptional RN/Hospice Administrator to lead our growing hospice program. Enjoy working primarily in one residential setting serving approximately 4-10 hospice residents, allowing for deeper relationships and personalized care. What You'll Do As the RN/Hospice Administrator , you'll serve as both the clinical and operational leader of Unity Hospice. You'll ensure exceptional patient care while supporting your staff, maintaining regulatory excellence, and advancing our mission of dignity, comfort, and quality of life. Leadership & Operations Direct the daily operations of the hospice agency. Ensure compliance with Medicare Conditions of Participation, state regulations, HIPAA, and agency policies. Develop and maintain policies and procedures that support quality care. Coordinate hospice services with facility leadership for seamless patient care. Lead regulatory surveys, audits, and quality initiatives. Clinical Excellence Provide clinical oversight and nursing leadership. Guide and mentor an interdisciplinary hospice team. Collaborate with the Medical Director, physicians, and facility staff to develop individualized care plans. Monitor patient outcomes and ensure excellence in symptom management. Champion Quality Assessment and Performance Improvement (QAPI). Team Leadership Recruit, mentor, and support hospice staff. Build schedules that ensure excellent patient coverage. Foster a positive, collaborative workplace culture focused on compassion, accountability, and teamwork. Administrative & Financial Management Partner with the COO on budgeting, payroll oversight, supplies, and operational planning. Support Medicare compliance and efficient billing processes. Ensure timely documentation and reporting. Community Relationships Serve as the primary leader and ambassador for Unity Hospice. Build trusted relationships with residents, families, physicians, facility staff, and community partners. Promote our mission through professionalism, compassion, and service.
