Job Description
Step into an impactful role for the 2026-2027 academic year, supporting young learners in an engaging elementary school setting near Enfield, NH. As a registered nurse, you'll play a vital part in maintaining and promoting student health throughout the school year. This full-time contract position runs from August 2026 through June 2027, with a weekly schedule of 32-37.5 hours, Monday through Friday. Your expertise will directly benefit the well-being of elementary students, offering a chance to make a meaningful difference each day. What we're looking for: Current, active RN license in New Hampshire (no LPNs for this role) Previous experience or strong interest in school nursing or pediatric care Proven skills in assessment, care planning, and health education for children Excellent communication abilities and a collaborative approach with students, staff, and families Ability to adapt to the school environment and provide appropriate care under various circumstances Key responsibilities: Oversee daily health needs and manage minor injuries and illnesses Implement and maintain individual health plans (IHPs) for students with chronic conditions Dispense medications and perform health screenings Educate students and staff on wellness, hygiene, and safety practices Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other staff to ensure holistic student support As more details emerge, updates will be provided to give you a clearer picture of this role's specific needs.
