all over NH--- Overview We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of patient care, medical procedures, and healthcare documentation. This role offers an opportunity to provide exceptional nursing services across diverse clinical settings, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and optimal health outcomes. The successful applicant will demonstrate proficiency in a wide range of medical procedures and possess strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams. Duties Perform thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and detailed medical histories to inform appropriate care plans. Administer medications, injections, and IV infusions accurately while adhering to aseptic techniques and safety protocols. Manage complex medical documentation using electronic health records (EHR) systems such as Cerner, Athenahealth, or eClinicalWorks to ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations. Assist with diagnostic evaluations, specimen collection, laboratory procedures, and imaging techniques including sonography and radiology. Provide specialized care in areas such as critical care, emergency medicine, trauma medicine at Level I or Level II trauma centers, ICU, PICU, or neonatal units. Support patients with chronic conditions by developing individualized care plans that include pain management, medication administration, and health coaching. Coordinate discharge planning and case management activities to facilitate smooth transitions across inpatient and outpatient settings. Maintain sterile processing standards during procedures like suturing, catheterization, ostomy care, and tube feeding while ensuring infection control protocols are followed. Skills Extensive experience working with diverse patient populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, individuals with developmental disabilities, memory care patients, and those requiring hospice or palliative care. Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems such as Cerner or Athenahealth for accurate documentation and medical records management. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), CPT coding for procedures, and laboratory testing procedures. Demonstrated ability to perform advanced clinical skills including airway management, ventilator support, dialysis procedures, catheterization (urinary and vascular), phlebotomy, and specimen processing. Familiarity with specialized areas such as cardiology (cardiac catheterization), infectious disease care, trauma medicine at Level I/II trauma centers, occupational health services, and hospital medicine practices. Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure environments such as emergency rooms or urgent care centers while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills for patient education on treatment plans and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams across various healthcare settings.
