1 Description American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Rehab and Med/Surg Float position requiring a NH or compact RN license and 3+ years of experience. Details Primary placement on the Rehab unit with floating to Med/Surg as needed Varied shifts including 3p-11p and 7p-7a Defined workweek runs Sunday 12:01am through Saturday 11:59pm Requirements Active NH or compact RN license required BLS and ACLS certifications required Minimum 3 years of nursing experience required Graduate of an approved Nursing program preferred Basic Dysrhythmia course required prior to completion of orientation CPI training preferred or obtained prior to completion of orientation Additional Information Provides professional nursing care including comprehensive clinical documentation and care plans each shift Communicates patient information through bedside shift report, multidisciplinary rounds, and hourly rounding Participates in daily unit-based safety huddles and quality improvement initiatives Collaborates with other departments and may serve as preceptor for new nurses Maintains current licensure and certifications required for the department
