This position focuses on providing one-on-one care for a 3-year-old student diagnosed with Infantile Neuroaxonal Dystrophy (INAD). As a compassionate Registered Nurse, you'll bring your pediatric expertise to support their unique medical needs during the school day and on transportation to and from school.

Key qualifications include:

Active RN licensure and current school nursing experience Proven pediatric care experiencethis is essential Skilled with NG-tube management (no G-tube required) Ability to confidently lift and safely transport a non-ambulatory, non-verbal child (~24 lbs) Experience with mobility equipment such as standers and gait-trainers Flexibility to provide nursing support on the school bus Strong communication and collaboration skills Primary responsibilities: Deliver direct daily nursing care for one student onsite during school and busing hours (8am 3pm, approximately 35 hours/week) Monitor and manage the students NG-tube as per prescriber and care plan Support the childs physical needs, including transferring, positioning, and using adaptive mobility devices Maintain clear, accurate records of care and any incidents Communicate effectively with school staff, family members, and any related service providers Uphold safety, confidentiality, and all relevant school policies throughout the contract period (January 2026 to June 2027) This is an onsite-only, single-position opportunity guaranteed to enrich both your professional and personal journey as you make a genuine difference in a childs school experience.
