Healthcare, Pharmaceutical, Biotech Description Full Time | Bergen County, NJ | 10 minutes from NYC We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Genitourinary & Medical Oncology Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) to join our Hematology Oncology Physicians of Englewood (HOPE) in New Jersey. The APN will provide comprehensive, patient-centered care to individuals with malignancies. This role involves clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, patient education, and collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. About the Opportunity While the primary focus of this position will be GU oncology, the APN will have the opportunity to care for patients across the broader medical oncology practice and develop expertise across multiple disease sites. The team includes 8 providers, 8 APNs, and 52 ancillary staff. Schedule- Mon-Fri

What your day will look like Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including medical histories and physical examinations for patients with malignancies. Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests and laboratory results. Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans. Be comfortable and familiar with NCCN guidelines. Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with state regulations and organizational policies. Manage and follow patients receiving active chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, and other systemic treatments. Conduct follow-up evaluations and monitor treatment effectiveness. Provide longitudinal follow-up and supportive care throughout the cancer journey. Educate patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment options, symptom management, and survivorship. Collaborate with primary care providers, nurses, and allied health professionals. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation. Participate in multidisciplinary care, quality improvement, clinical research, and program development initiatives . Qualifications Current New Jersey Professional Nurse License Current Nurse Practitioner License- Board Certification required ONS Chemo/Bio Certification within 3 months of hire required Master's Degree in Nursing required Current
CDS & DEA
