Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Admissions Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. In this role, you will conduct initial patient assessments, collect comprehensive health histories, and coordinate with the interdisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans. Your expertise will ensure seamless patient admissions and high-quality care delivery.
What you will do:
Perform thorough patient assessments and document health histories. Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans. Educate patients and families on treatment plans and healthcare procedures. Ensure accurate and timely documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations. Participate in discharge planning and patient follow-up as needed.
Qualifications:
Valid New Jersey RN license. Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in acute care settings (e.g., medical-surgical, oncology). Proficiency in patient assessment, care planning, and electronic medical records (EMR) systems. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
