A respected, mission-driven nonprofit health organization in New Jersey is hiring Registered Nurses for community-based roles focused on harm reduction, HIV/STI testing, and linking people to the care they need, with openings in both Northern and Central New Jersey.

What You'll Do:

Provide naloxone (Narcan) and teach overdose prevention, safer injection practices, and basic wound care Counsel and educate clients on HIV, hepatitis, and STI prevention, plus PrEP screening and referral Offer confidential, judgment-free HIV, HCV, and STI testing and connect clients to treatment and ongoing care Link clients to services like medical case management, substance use care, housing, food, and financial assistance Manage vaccine ordering, storage, administration, and documentation Keep accurate medical records and data in compliance with NJ nursing board and funder requirements Run discreet, accessible sessions at times and places that work for clients Network with local, state, and national partners to build strong referral pathways Generate monthly reports, track outcomes, and gather client feedback Respond to urgent situations calmly as they arise

What You'll Bring:

Active NJ RN license with a BSN 2+ years of community nursing experience; 1+ year in HIV/AIDS, education, or a related field Phlebotomy certification or experience Knowledge of harm reduction and the social service landscape around substance use and mental health Comfort with Word, Excel, email, and database entry
