Your expertise will support students and staff across multiple school buildings, contributing to a healthy, safe learning environment.

Key Qualifications:

Active NJ School Nursing (RN) licensure required A minimum of one year school-based RN experience Demonstrated ability to manage and service caseloads within a school or district setting Comfortable providing coverage and coordinating care district-wide Reliable transportation and proximity to the commute are essential Willingness to complete onboarding requirements, including TB screening, physical, and fingerprinting for both agency and district clearance Only Registered Nurse (RN) candidates are eligible; LPNs will not be considered

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver direct nursing care to students, assessing and addressing acute and chronic health concerns Administer daily medications and manage emergency medical situations Maintain and document accurate health records in compliance with district, state, and federal policies Educate students and staff on disease prevention and health promotion Participate in IEP/504 planning for students with special health needs Monitor health protocols district-wide and consult regularly with administration Oversee multiple school sites, ensuring each building's health office operates efficiently

Assignment Details:

35 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 8:15AM-3:15PM District-wide float coverage across school buildings This is a fulfilling opportunity for skilled School RNs dedicated to fostering student well-being in a collaborative, supportive environment.
