Desired Qualifications:
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New Jersey Valid Certified School Nurse (CSN) certification Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills Ability to respond calmly and effectively in emergency situations Commitment to fostering a safe, inclusive environment for all students
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality nursing care to students and staff, including assessment, first aid, and chronic condition management Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and school policy Maintain comprehensive and confidential medical records Collaborate with educators, families, and outside providers to support student health plans Promote wellness through health education and routine screenings Implement public health and safety protocols as required by district and state guidelines You will play a central role in promoting the health and wellbeing of the entire school community, building trusting relationships with students and colleagues alike.
