The nurse practitioner will round in designated assisted living centers, nursing homes and rehabilitation centers in Bergen county. No call. Competitive pay. Responsibilities Round in designated assisted living centers, nursing homes and rehabilitation centers Complete structured clinical interview with all new patients Order and review diagnostic tests (blood tests, X-rays etc.) Propose treatments for acute and chronic diseases Document all patient care in electronic medical record Educate patients and their family members on diseases, epidemics and prevention Skills Valid New Jersey RN license. Valid New Jersey driver's license. Comprehensive knowledge of adult nursing care, preferable in outpatient services. Comprehensive knowledge of principles of nursing, and physical assessment skills. Ability to function autonomously, excellent leadership, clinical & interpersonal skills Strong organizational and administrative skills. Strong ethics. Master's degree; PhD is a plus.
Pay:
$40.00 - $75.00 per hour
