Job Description

OneStaff Medical seeks a Travel Registered Nurse for the Cath Lab within Healthcare & Medical Services. In this dynamic role, you'll deliver high-quality cardiovascular care to patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional procedures. Responsibilities include pre- and post-procedure assessments, hemodynamic monitoring, administering medications and sedation, and collaborating with physicians and technologists. Responsibilities Provide nursing care for patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures Prepare patients pre-procedure, including assessment, education, and IV access Monitor hemodynamic status, heart rhythm, and sedation throughout procedures Assist the Cath Lab team with scrub and circulating responsibilities following sterile technique Manage post-procedure recovery, assess for complications, and coordinate safe discharge or transfer Document all care accurately in the EHR and communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary team Adapt quickly to new facility protocols and workflows as a traveling RNUphold One Staff Medical's standards of integrity, respect, and high-quality patient care Required Skills Cardiac catheterization procedures Hemodynamic monitoring ECG/EKG interpretation Moderate sedation management Sterile technique and scrub circulating IV insertion and medication administration Post-procedure recovery and monitoring Emergency response (ACLS level) Electronic Health Records (EHR) documentation Patient and family education
