This position offers a stable weekday schedule with no weekends, holidays, or on-call responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have experience in post-anesthesia care and a commitment to ensuring exceptional patient outcomes. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients recovering from anesthesia and surgical procedures. Assess, monitor, and document patient status throughout the recovery process. Recognize and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition. Administer medications and treatments as ordered. Educate patients and families regarding post-operative care and discharge instructions. Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and interdisciplinary team members. Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Promote a safe, patient-centered environment throughout the recovery phase. Qualifications Active New Jersey Registered Nurse (RN) license. Current BLS and ACLS certifications. PACU, Critical Care, ED, or Perioperative nursing experience preferred. Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills. Excellent communication and patient education abilities. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced outpatient surgical setting.
