To Be Negotiated Leadership role within a respected, mission-driven nonprofit Health/dental/vision insurance, PTO, retirement plan, etc. Work in an organization accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Home Care (CAHC) Monday-Friday, on-call support About the Role As Director of Nursing, you'll be a key member of SAGE Eldercare's leadership team, overseeing the clinical and operational management of our HomeCare Department. You'll set policy, ensure CAHC compliance, manage office and field staff, oversee the department budget, and help grow our referral network — all while staying close to direct client care. What You'll Do Manage day-to-day HomeCare operations, including hiring and supervising office and field staff Set and update department policies to reflect current nursing practice and regulations Lead recruitment and retention strategies for nursing and home health aide staff Build and grow referral relationships with community partners Support budget planning, contract management, and financial oversight for the department Conduct new client intakes, develop care plans, and oversee field staff scheduling Carry out RN responsibilities, including participating in on-call. Partner with other SAGE departments and outside organizations on care coordination Maintain compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and reimbursement standards, including recordkeeping Train and support certification of field staff Participate in Advisory and Quality Assurance meetings and relevant professional events Conduct internal audits to maintain CAHC compliance What You'll Need BS in Nursing or related health field + 2 years of RN experience in community health/home care, or 3 years of progressive RN experience in community health/home care Active, unrestricted RN license in New Jersey Experience delivering nursing care in home settings Prior supervisory or management experience Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) Nice to have: familiarity with CAHC accreditation standards; budget preparation/management experience Ready to lead with purpose?
