Atlantic Health System is Seeking an Advanced Practice Professional (NP/PA) for a Per Diem Opportunity for Nights in Summit, New Jersey Atlantic Health System, one of New Jersey's largest non-profit healthcare networks, is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join the Department of Medicine at Overlook Medical Center. Our dynamic Critical Care team consisting of skilled Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers working together with Medical Residents, Intensivists, and Cardiologists in a focused environment to provide high quality patient care. This is a per diem opportunity working nights 7pm - 7am, 3-5 shifts per month with the opportunity for more shifts. The primary role of the APP is the management of patients within the critical care setting in the combined Medical- Surgical Intensive Care Unit and the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit. The APP will work alongside the Medical Residents in managing patients housed in Cardiac Care Unit and Intensive Care Unit with supervision from the on-call ICU or Critical Care attendings who will be taking call remotely.
