Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Part-time Registered Nurse (RN) to join our school health office team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive health services to students, staff, and visitors, ensuring a safe and healthy school environment. Your expertise will support student well-being through assessments, emergency response, and daily needs. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the school community while working flexible hours. School certification not required. Duties Administer medications, and treatments following established protocols Respond promptly to medical emergencies, providing first aid and critical care when necessary Maintain accurate medical records. Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers to develop individualized health plans Manage chronic conditions such as asthma or allergies by coordinating care and medication administration Educate students on health topics including hygiene, nutrition, and injury prevention Requirements Valid RN license in the state of New Jersey Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and aseptic techniques Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with students, staff, and families This position offers meaningful work in a supportive setting dedicated to promoting wellness and safety for all members of our school community.
