Job Description

The Stepping Stones Group is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a contracted, school-based placement in West New York, NJ for the 26/27 school year ! This is a full-time position supporting a local K-12 district with private duty/1:1 nursing services. Working with The Stepping Stones Group means consistent pay, clinical backing from experienced nurses, and support from a team that understands school-based nursing - not just staffing.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Active RN license valid in NJ Graduate of an accredited ADN or BSN program Current CPR/AED certification Demonstrated competency in the specific skills required for the assigned student Ability to work independently in a non-clinical environment Experience working with Pediatric population required
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to respond effectively in emergency situations Ability to work collaboratively with school staff, families, therapists, and healthcare providers Ability to maintain accurate and timely documentation Prior school-based experience highly preferred
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Maintain continuous observation of assigned student throughout the school day Implement and monitor student health plans Accompany student during transportation and community-based activities when assigned Communicate significant status changes to family, school staff, and clinical leadership Provide first aid, daily medical care, and emergency support Maintain student confidentiality in accordance with FERPA and HIPAA requirements
