Travel Medical-Surgical Nurse (RN) - Bloomfield, New Mexico

Qualifications:

Current and valid RN license Previous experience working in a Medical-Surgical (MS) environment Strong assessment, critical thinking, and organizational skills Ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams Excellent patient advocacy and communication abilities Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred

Responsibilities:

Administer medications, treatments, and procedures according to physician orders and hospital policy Monitor and assess patients' health status, documenting findings and reporting changes as needed Deliver comprehensive bedside care, including wound care, pain management, and mobility assistance Educate patients and families about ongoing care, procedures, and discharge planning Operate within established infection control and patient safety protocols Coordinate with physicians, allied health professionals, and support staff to deliver seamless patient care
