Full-Time | Civilian Contractor via Central Care Incorporated Compensation & Benefits $50.00/hour Base Rate $5.09/hour Health & Welfare (H&W) 80 Hours PTO (accrued annually based on wage determination) 56 Hours Sick Leave (accrued annually) 11

Paid Federal Holidays Schedule:

Monday -Friday, with 8-hour shifts between 7:00 AM-5:00 PM, not to exceed more than 40 hours per week.

Minimum Qualifications Degree/Education:

Associates Degree or higher Must be a U.S.

Citizen Education:

Graduate from a college or university accredited by Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).

Experience:

RN shall have at least 24 months of experience within the last 48 months in a primary care setting, or Emergency Room, or Critical Care, or ICU Nursing setting. The nurse shall have at least 24 months of experience within the last 48 months in occupational medicine and nursing assessment of orthopedic injuries is required. The nurse shall have at least 24 months of experience within the last 48 months with workers' compensation at the Federal level. ο

Licensure:

Must hold a full, current, and unrestricted license in a State, Territory, Commonwealth, or the District of Columbia. ο

Non-Personal Services:

Must hold a full, current, valid, unrestricted license (with no limitations, stipulations, or pending adverse actions) that abides by the State requirements of the location of performance

Certifications:

Basic Life Support ( BLS) Responsibilities Complete all required electronic medical record training and MTF-specific orientation. Follows applicable local MTF/AF/DoD instructions, policies and guidelines Complete all DHA and AFMHO online and hands-on training. Work with base personnel (DPCLC) on medically disqualified, compensation, and limited duty programs. Assist in the investigations of illness and injuries for both active-duty military and civilian personnel. Supports Occupational Medicine Services (OMS), Aerospace Medicine and Civilian Personnel on coordination and compilation of compensation data relevant to adjudicating and/or controverting compensation claims. Strongly preferred working knowledge of the military health care system including TRICARE health benefits. Apply knowledge of military health care system including TRICARE health benefits or a working knowledge of the principles of fee-for services, preferred provider network and managed care/HMO organizations. Skill in setting up, operating and monitoring specialized medical equipment such as cardiac monitoring devices, EKG units, oxygen analyzers, nebulizers, and other clinic specific equipment. Perform medication administration in accordance with established protocols and scope of practice. Perform/assist with procedures such as oxygen, visual acuity tests, EKGs, irrigation of eyes and ears, tympanograms, splinting, phlebotomy and other clinic specific procedures, in accordance with established protocols. Ensure for proper documentation of procedures and treatments. Ensure all equipment is properly cleaned and stored at the end of each work shift. Ensure preventive maintenance and routine cleaning are performed as directed. Ensure medication/supplies are replenished. Participate in the orientation and training of newly assigned personnel, as appropriate. Perform telephone triage in accordance with local policy. Coordinate referrals for patients off base and provide education on the process per local policy. May be required to work various shifts or augment clinical nursing support during the absence of other team nurses due to illness, leave or deployment.
