Job Summary:

We are looking for dedicated Travel Wound Care RNs in Gallup, New Mexico with excellent communication skills, critical thinking skills, and team player attitude. This provider will be responsible for caring for patients, communicating with other medical team members and maintaining accurate medical records.

Duties:

Provide direct nursing care to patients with acute and chronic medical conditions. (Patient ages range from pediatrics to geriatrics)

Assess and manage complex wounds and ostomies, developing individualized plans of care based on patient needs.

Perform wound and ostomy treatments, including dressing changes, wound debridement, and ostomy appliance selection and management.

Monitor wound healing and patient progress, identifying complications and modifying treatment plans as needed.

Educate patients and caregivers on wound care, ostomy management, skin protection, and strategies to promote healing and independence.

Job Requirements:

Current and unrestricted RN License

• Any state license accepted
  Minimum 3 years RN experience
  12 Months Wound Care experience within past 12 months
  BLS
• American Heart Association
  ACLS
• American Heart Association
  WOCN
• Wound Ostomy and Continence Nursing Certification
• Required
