Schedule/Hours:
Travel assignment flexibility may be required to meet surgical schedules
Key Qualifications:
Active RN license valid for New Mexico or compact state Minimum of 1 year of recent OR nursing experience Current
BLS/ACLS
certifications Strong clinical skills in operating room procedures and protocols Ability to adapt quickly to new teams and fast-paced environments Excellent communication and critical thinking abilities
Core Responsibilities:
Scrub and circulate as part of an interdisciplinary surgical team Monitor patient safety and respond to intraoperative needs Communicate effectively with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and support staff Maintain strict adherence to sterilization and infection control standards Prep OR for surgeries and assist with post-op patient care transitions Document all care activities thoroughly and accurately
