6:30 am - 4:30 pm Full-time contractQualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Nursing required Active RN License in NM or compact state BLS certification (AHA only) Strong background in MS Oncology and Oncology nursing Prior leadership or nurse management experience preferredResponsibilities:
Lead and oversee daily unit operations, and maintain 24/7 accountability for patient care quality and nursing standards. Collaborate cross-functionally with medical teams, hospital leadership, Human Resources, and other departments to resolve concerns and ensure high-quality outcomes. Participate in the creation and execution of department goals and initiatives aligned with hospital policies. Direct and manage staff assignments; oversee professional development, performance evaluations, and recruitment processes. Serve as an advocate for patients and families, maintaining patient rights, safety, and satisfaction. Ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to accreditation requirements. Facilitate regular communication among team members; contribute to process improvements and emergency preparedness plans. Oversee resource utilization, budgeting, and supply management within the unit.
