A Registered Nurse provides medical care and treatment, educates patients about their conditions, and provides emotional support to patients and families. Works in hospitals, schools, clinics or community health centers. Works under the supervision of a physician or other specialist, and serves as the primary point of care for patients in a hospital setting. May specialize in emergency room work, or treatment for a particular condition, or specialize in working with infants, the elderly or other patient groups. May work as an advanced practice specialists and prescribe medications in addition to offering specialty care.

Job Description
PACU Duties:
Provide direct nursing care to patients in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit. Monitor patients recovering from anesthesia and surgical procedures. Perform ongoing assessments of vital signs, airway status, pain levels, and overall recovery. Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as ordered. Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, nurses, and other members of the care team. Provide patient and family education regarding postoperative care and discharge instructions.Qualifications:
Associate's Degree in Nursing- required Active and unencumbered RN license
- required Minimum of 1 year of PACU nursing experience
- required Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills.
Compensation:
$31.00- 36.
