Duties & Responsibilities:

Conducts patient assessments, including vital signs, medical history, and symptoms. Performs triage and prioritizes patients based on acuity. Administers medications, IV fluids, and treatments as ordered. Provides emergency care, including wound care and splinting. Monitors patient condition and response to treatment. Collaborates with physicians and the healthcare team. Documents assessments, treatments, and patient responses accurately. Educates patients and families on care and follow-up instructions. Responds to Code Blue, rapid response, and other emergencies. Advocates for patient rights, dignity, and safety. Follows infection control and hospital policies. Participates in quality improvement and required training. Floats to qualified departments as needed and performs other assigned duties.

Minimum Qualifications:

Current RN license in the State of NM. Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC certification required. Minimum of one (1) year related experience Copy of current, completed Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required. Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., .
