Gross Weekly Pay (Traveler) : $2,304.40/Week(Includes Lodging & M&I Stipends $1,246 ) week
Job Description:
The Registered Nurse (RN) plans and provides comprehensive nursing care to inmates/residents, including executing Licensed Independent Provider (LIP) orders, dispensing and administering medications, and assisting the LIP with patient examinations and treatment.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate pill call and dispense medications as required. Accurately document medication administration and other medical services. Contact Licensed Independent Providers for medication and treatment orders and for emergencies. Examine and assess new inmates/residents with illnesses or injuries. Assess inmates/residents who become ill or injured while in the facility.
Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited college, university, or nursing program. Must possess a nursing degree or diploma. Must possess current Registered Nurse licensure in the state of employment (New Mexico) . Must possess a valid driver's license . Must be able to meet all facility-specific credentialing and clearance requirements.
Minimum Degree Required:
