This position will provide direction in analyzing data to help facilitate decisions and actions, developing data-driven solutions to improve patient health collaborating with other departments in the healthcare system to reduce expenses through strategic data analysis. This position will be designing and implementing tools to measure data, patient care effectiveness and processes. This position will create templates and mentor doctors and other medical staff to the new electronic medical record. They will be addressing problems with the system raised by doctors and other medical staff. Implementing processes that streamline reporting. This position will be conducting nurse orientation and other education classes to the MCMC staff. How does it get done? This position will provide direction in continually reviewing the latest technology available for healthcare systems and recommending updates and changes as needed. Who are the customers? The position works closely with all departments, medical providers and electronic medical record users. Ideal Candidate The position works closely with all departments, medical providers and electronic medical record users. Minimum Qualification Must possess a current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in New Mexico, or eligibility for such licensure in accordance with New Mexico requirements, or eligibility for a temporary license issued for employment at a specific institution in New Mexico and three (3) years of experience as it pertains to the essential duties and responsibilities of the classification. Employment Requirements Must successfully complete and pass a background check. Working Conditions Work is performed in an office and acute care facility with extensive computer and some phone usage. Some sitting, standing, walking, stooping, bending reaching and lifting up to twenty (20) pounds may be required.
