1 Description American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Long Term Care position requiring 1+ year of experience, PointClickCare charting knowledge, and flexibility between day and night shifts. Details Work in a 25-bed Long Term Care/Intermediate Care unit in a very rural setting Rotating 12-hour shifts (36s/48s) covering both day (6:30 AM-6:30 PM) and night (6:30 PM-6:30 AM) schedules Staff work a Saturday through Friday work week Weekend shifts required Must be flexible to work either day or night shift as needed Mandatory floating within the hospital or to an affiliate hospital for closed departments, in accordance with client policies and Joint Commission standards Uses Cerner EMR (facility transitioned in October 2022) and PointClickCare charting systems Requirements Active RN license (NM state license or compact license) required in hand Current BLS certification required Minimum 1 year of RN experience required PointClickCare charting experience required Cerner EMR experience required Two professional references required for consideration Copy of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration Additional Information Provide direct patient care in a long-term/intermediate care setting First-time travelers are welcome to apply Candidates residing within 100 miles of the facility are considered local and are not accepted for this position Previous travelers are welcome to reapply; permanent staff seeking to travel must obtain facility approval RTO requests should be kept to a minimum, with no calendar week off preferred during the assignment Expect to work some holidays during the assignment
