Provide comprehensive nursing care for adult patients in a Medical/Surgical setting during night shifts Obtain and document initial assessments, establishing care priorities based on patient needs Reassess patients regularly to monitor progress and identify trends requiring intervention Develop and implement individualized care plans in accordance with standards of care Perform Point of Care testing and administer appropriate interventions Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care and discharge planning Document all patient interactions accurately and timely Support a positive environment by effectively communicating with patients, families, and staffWhat You Need:
Current RN license in New Mexico or a compact state BLS certification from AHA Previous Medical/Surgical nursing experience preferred Strong communication skills and team-oriented attitude Ability to adapt to floating across departments and handle a fast-paced environment About theAssignment:
This assignment is at a prominent healthcare facility in Santa Fe, NM. The RN will work in Med/Surg departments, floating as needed to support patient care across units. The role involves delivering high-quality, compassionate nursing care in a dynamic setting, ensuring safety and satisfaction for patients and staff alike. The schedule includes weekend shifts, with on-call duties possible based on census needs.
