DreamCatchers Consulting LLC is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) - Tour Coordinator to support nursing operations and patient-care coordination at Northern Navajo Medical Center in Shiprock, New Mexico . The Tour Coordinator will help oversee patient flow, coordinate nursing staff, support admissions and transfers, respond to urgent situations, and ensure effective communication among hospital departments. Key Responsibilities Coordinate daily patient-care activities and nursing operations. Support staffing assignments, nursing rounds, and staff coordination. Coordinate patient admissions, discharges, and transfers. Monitor patient flow and communicate with hospital departments. Support emergency, urgent-care, and crisis-management activities. Promote continuity of care and patient safety. Maintain accurate nursing and administrative documentation. Communicate effectively with providers, nurses, patients, families, and hospital leadership. Follow all applicable IHS, HIPAA, Privacy Act, patient-safety, and hospital policies . Work assigned rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Required Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) . Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse license . Minimum 36 months of nursing experience . Minimum two years of experience in a Tour Coordinator, Charge Nurse, Nursing Supervisor, or similar hospital operations role . Experience with patient-care coordination, staffing, admissions, discharges, and transfers. Strong communication, organization, and decision-making skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a hospital environment. Ability to work rotating shifts and respond effectively to urgent situations. Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications , as required. Ability to meet applicable federal, hospital, credentialing, health, and background-screening requirements. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience at Northern Navajo Medical Center or another Indian Health Service facility. Experience coordinating hospital-wide patient flow and nursing operations. Familiarity with diverse patient populations and healthcare environments. Experience working in Shiprock or the surrounding Four Corners region. Pay:
$35.00 - $50.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
