PRN Hospice Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Taos, NM Del Corazon Hospice | Per Visit / PRN Del Corazon Hospice is seeking a compassionate and skilled PRN Registered Nurse (RN) to provide hospice visits to patients in the Taos, New Mexico area.

Position Summary The PRN Hospice RN provides professional nursing care to hospice patients in their place of residence, supporting comfort, dignity, and quality of life. This role works closely with the interdisciplinary hospice team to ensure exceptional end-of-life care. Key Responsibilities Perform skilled nursing visits for hospice patients in Taos and surrounding communities Complete comprehensive assessments and symptom management interventions Provide education and emotional support to patients and families Collaborate with physicians, social workers, chaplains, and hospice aides Document visits accurately and timely in the EMR Participate in on-call rotation as needed (optional based on availability) Promote hospice philosophy with compassion, professionalism, and respect Qualifications Current RN license in the State of New Mexico (required) Minimum 1 year of nursing experience (hospice or home health preferred) Strong clinical judgment and communication skills Ability to work independently in the field Reliable transportation and valid driver's license CPR certification (preferred) Why Join Del Corazon Hospice?
