Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality nursing care in a accredited residential treatment center for at-risk adolescent girls. In this role, you will be expected to support the physical and emotional well-being of youth navigating trauma, mental health challenges, and substance use disorders. You will prepare and administer medications, monitor health status, collaborate with the clinical team, and respond to medical needs in a calm, therapeutic manner. Your presence will help create a safe, structured, and healing environment where teens can focus on recovery and growth. Qualifications Proven nursing experience Active Nevada RN license BLS Certification Must be able to pass drug test and background check Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to clients including conducting health assessments, administering medications, weekly monitoring of vitals, and scheduling outpatient appoints as necessary Demonstrate kindness, compassion and honesty while working with our clients Communicate effectively with all other members of the clinical team, residental staff, clients, and parents/guardians Proper documentation of admission notes, progress notes, and shift summaries. Preform waived tests such as urine drug screens Administer and read TB skin tests Nurse must be physically able to go up and down stairs quickly, bend and twist, and lift 50 lbs Job Type Full Time About Us Moapa Valley Ranch is a CARF-accredited psychiatric residential treatment facility for girls ages 10-18 with mental health and substance use challenges.
