Job Description

Shift:
6:45 PM - 7:15AM Experience:
- 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
- 24 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience.
- Travel experience is required.
- Experience with Epic is preferred.
- Trauma Level 1 experience is preferred.
Requirements:
- Candidates must have a Missouri license or compact license (required after submission).
- This role will require floating to multiple units
- Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >75 miles from facility to be submitted.

RNs only - Clinicians who obtained RN degree outside of the U.S. and do not hold MO/IL/Compact license require extended licensing and compliance timeframe. No medical marijuana cards accepted. You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.Required Skills/Experience:
1 year CV ICU experience required. Vents, IV start, Tele, and conscious sedation required.Preferred Skills/Experience:
Cardiac skill set preferred: Swans-hemodynamic interpretation, IABP, Impella, ECMO, and vasoactive drips. CRRT experience beneficial. Triage, ICP, and PA lines preferred.Unit Details:
Ratio:
2:1 in ICUs for all shifts. Adult and geriatric patient population. Rare adolescent patients ages 16-18 who are adult size/weight may be seen.Shift & Scheduling:
BJC policy: Every other weekend required. Every other weekend requirement or 6 weekend shifts per 6 week scheduled; plus holiday rotation.Floating Requirements:
Floating to multiple ICUs including Trauma, Oncology, Cardiac / Heart and Vascular, Neurology, Medicine, and COVID. If ICU needs are low, they will be expected to float to inpatient floors as a staff nurse. The nursing office staffs Oncology, Neurology, Med Surg, Medicine, Trauma, Heart and Vascular, and COVID. Will float to inpatient floors when needed with ratio of no more than 1:3, may float to non-critical care units if ICU census is low, and may be utilized as a patient sitter if needed.Details:

: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment.
