What they do
A Registered Nurse provides medical care and treatment, educates patients about their conditions, and provides emotional support to patients and families. Works in hospitals, schools, clinics or community health centers. Works under the supervision of a physician or other specialist, and serves as the primary point of care for patients in a hospital setting. May specialize in emergency room work, or treatment for a particular condition, or specialize in working with infants, the elderly or other patient groups. May work as an advanced practice specialists and prescribe medications in addition to offering specialty care.

Starting at $38.50/hourly The posted pay range contains shift differentials. Registered Nurses (RN's) are eligible for additional compensation based on the shifts worked. Weekday evening shift- additional 10%, plus $2.00 per hour Weekday night shift
- an additional 15%, plus $3.00 per hour Weekend day shift
- an additional 10% Weekend evening & night shifts
- an additional 21% Must be able to float between all Urgent Care offices.
Responsibilities:
Implements and monitors patient care plans. Monitors, records and communicates patient condition as appropriate. Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care. Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders. Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.Complexity of Work:
Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment.Minimum Qualifications:
Licensure/Certification/Registration:
Required Credential(s): BLS Provider obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date. Registered Nurse credentialed from the New York Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.Education:
Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required.Work Experience:

Must be able to multitask while remaining professional, focused, composed and positive. Excellent customer service skills and must display integrity, friendliness, and compassion. Problem solving skills.Proficient with Microsoft Office products:
Outlook, Word, Excel Strong organizational skills. Effective interpersonal skills. Ability to work as part of a team and independently. Must be able to speak, read, write and follow instructions in English.
