Patient Diagnoses:

Pt. population is a mixture of young adults to elderly. We see lots vents, titratable drips, substance abuse withdrawal. Diseases of cardiac, respiratory, neuro, GI systems, etc. Also manage post-op pt.'s

A-lines, central lines, intubations, chest tubes, open abdomens

ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS
Skills:

Medical Intensive Care Unit, Neuro Intensive Care Unit, Surgical Intensive Care Unit, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Management of patient with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure, Obtain 12 lead

EKG/ECG, IV

insulin protocols, GI surgery, Accessing/Managing Ports, Arterial line management, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, PICC line management, Starting and maintaining IVs, Continuous IV paralytics/Neuromuscular blockade, Continuous IV sedation, Emergency Medications, Procedural Sedation Administration/Monitoring, Titrate Cardiac drips, Titrate Vasoactive drips, CVA/Acute Stroke management, Hypothermia protocol/Arctic Sun, Assist with Chest Tube Insertion/Removal, BiPAP/CPAP management, Care of Ventilated Patient, Fresh tracheostomy, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs), Pulmonary edema, Pulmonary embolism, Respiratory failure, Suctioning (ETT, NT),
