Provides first aid, treats illnesses that occur at school, administers medications, and coordinates with other health care providers, including behavioral and mental health care providers. May work at a school or travel to different schools within a school district.

Position Overview:
Provide on-call school nursing support, including health office coverage and one-to-one student care. Assess medical needs, administer medications, manage chronic conditions, and provide emergency care. Support students with diverse medical, developmental, and physical needs in a safe, inclusive learning environment. Collaborate with school staff, families, and care teams to promote student health and well-being.
Qualifications:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing Active New York Registered Nurse (RN) License Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Completed NYSED fingerprinting (or ability to obtain before starting) School nursing or pediatric experience preferred Why Join Cross Country Education?
