Work Schedule:

6:30am-3pm (includes 30-minute unpaid meal break), alternating weekends. Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to: Provide comprehensive nursing care and interventions to youth in a juvenile correctional setting. Administer medications in accordance with established nursing procedures, treatment plans, and regulatory standards. Maintain accurate inventory of medications, controlled substances, and narcotics. Assess and monitor the overall health condition of youth. Develop, review, and evaluate individualized nursing intervention plans. Ensure nursing interventions are consistent with comprehensive treatment plans. Monitor and document changes in youth health conditions and provide appropriate follow-up care. Participate as a member of the multidisciplinary treatment team. Provide and participate in staff training related to healthcare and nursing practices. Prepare and maintain clinical and administrative nursing reports and documentation. Maintain infection control standards and follow applicable healthcare regulations and facility policies. Provide nursing support in a secure juvenile residential/correctional environment. Collaborate with facility staff and healthcare professionals to promote the health and safety of youth. Perform additional nursing duties and responsibilities as assigned. BLS or CPR Pay:

$50.00 - $53.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
