RN Lead:
Oversee and provide direct patient care, including assessments, treatments, and follow ups Develop and monitors patient care plans in collaboration with providers and other healthcare professions Oversee the clinical team, providing guidance and support Delegate tasks effectively and ensure that staff adhere to policies and procedures Train and mentor new staff members and ensure ongoing pro Organizes charts and performs chart preparation prior to patient visit to ensure all documentation is accurate and complete Works with clinic manager and department director to implement and change policy and procedure when needed Works with office clerical staff to streamline workflows and improve care Maintains professional relationships with other offices Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatment plans, and preventive care Ensure accurate documentation of patient care in Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems Deliver exemplary customer service in order to provide a positive experience across the organization Perform other duties assigned by management. Minimum Qualifications of an
RN Lead:
Possession of a license and current registration to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State as issued by the New York State Education Department 3-5 years of nursing experience, preferably in an ambulatory care setting 1-2 years of previous leadership or supervisory experience, strongly preferred Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification, required Strong clinical skills with an understanding of outpatient and ambulatory care procedures. Excellent leadership and management abilities Proficiency in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and other healthcare technology Ability to perform patient assessments, develop care plans, and manage follow-up care. Critical thinking, time management, strong communication, problem-solving, and ability to handle various clinical situations. The pay range listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant at the time of posting.
